Thursday 12pm – 2pm
This is a updated version of a class that has been running for a few years. The classes will be mainly around flowers, how and when to collect seeds, building small gardens, spiliting, pruning, sculping and bleaching trees. Liquid feeding and composting. Tea and coffee will be provided every week and the course includes a trip to Malahide Castle Walled Gardens.
The groups are small and the class is run in a relaxed and social atmosphere, designed for people with all types of experience and none.
Starts Wednesday 20nd September for 10 weeks outside and in the hall.
Week 1: Seed collection.
Week 2: Minature Garden
Week 3: Flower Sculptures
Week 4: Pressed Flowers
Week 5: Spillting, Dividing and Pruning
Week 6: Sculpting, Bleaching, Topiary, Bonsai
Week 7: Fillers & Spillers- Herbaceous Borders
Week 8: Liquid Feeds and Compost
Week 9: Group trip to Malahide Castle Walled Garden.
Week 10: Christmas Wreaths and Decorations.
