This is a updated version of a class that has been running for a few years. The classes will be mainly around flowers, how and when to collect seeds, building small gardens, spiliting, pruning, sculping and bleaching trees, liquid feeding and composting. Tea and coffee will be provided every week and the course includes a trip to Malahide Castle Walled Gardens.
The groups are small and the class is run in a relaxed and social atmosphere, designed for people with all types of experience and none.
Starts Thursday 12th September for 10 weeks outside and in the hall.
Week 1: Seed Collections.
Week 2: Miniature Gardens.
Week 3: Flower Sculptures.
Week 4: Pressed Flowers.
Week 5: Splitting, Dividing and Pruning.
Week 6: Sculpting, Bleaching, Topiary, Bonsai.
Week 7: Fillers & Spillers – Herbaceous Borders.
Week 8: Liquid Feeds & Compost.
Week 9: Visit to Malahide Castle Walled Garden
Week 10: Christmas Wreaths & Decorations
